LightGrid Showcases its Capabilities at 2019 TechNet Cyber Convention

|

(Baltimore, MD, May 2019) LightGrid, LLC had the privilege of attending the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association`s (AFCEA) TechNet Cyber 2019 Convention at the Baltimore Convention Center May 14th through May 16th. The event offers a networking space for Department of Defense (DoD) vendors, military representatives, and government leaders.

Attendees participated in industry forums to learn about Defense Information Systems Agency`s (DISA) latest goals. DISA vendors connected with new audiences while exhibiting their cyber capabilities and solutions. The event commenced by offering a plethora of pre-event workshops such as an overview session of Privileged User Access (PUA) and Zero Trust Programs. As the event progressed, noteworthy topics were explored such as network security, physical security of terminal hardware and secure cloud computing architecture. All topics provided productive considerations for the LightGrid team regarding future cyber work. The TechNet event also facilitated an opportunity for LightGrid to share our core capabilities with customers, program managers and prime contractors, as well as meet new potential teammates. It was an overall fantastic networking opportunity.

LightGrid’s employees had a wonderful time connecting with everyone and discussing how working with LightGrid can enhance DISA`s program by providing mission critical support services. As a registered AFCEA Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HubZone) Small Business (SB) member, LightGrid extends a special thank you to AFCEA for the opportunity to partake in such an informative and engaging event. The LightGrid team looks forward to future AFCEA events and to employing knowledge from the TechNet event into future work.
