Sponsored by Inside Business and Cherry Bekaert (CB), the competition recognizes twenty awardees based on revenue, economic growth, and their significant contributions to the local economy. In order to be considered for this award, a company must have been founded before 2015 and have reported gross revenues of at least $2 million per year for the past three years. Along with this criteria, a panel of judges selected the finalists based on critical factors such as persistence against personal obstacles, and service in the local community.
