(Virginia Beach, VA., June 18, 2019) — LightGrid, LLC (LightGrid) announces its role as Managing Venturer of Defense Solutions Group, LLC (DSG) JV.

DSG JV is comprised of six member companies that bring together their unique capabilities, experience, and talent to address the challenging needs of the United States Government and Department of Defense. Members of DSG JV include LightGrid; Solutions By Design II, LLC; Pinhook IT Services & Solutions, LLC; NextPoint Group LLC; RBR-Technologies, Inc.; and Savage River Associates Inc.

As the Managing Venturer, LightGrid will aid the DSG Team in navigating upcoming task order opportunities, including those on the recently awarded Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) ENCORE III Small Business (SB) contract vehicle. ENCORE III Small Business is a contract vehicle valued at $17.5 billion. Sarah Kerr, LightGrid`s Director of Business Operations, is thrilled at this new window of opportunity. “LightGrid is very lucky to be a part of such a valuable team of partners,” says Kerr. “Together, we tell a unique story and can help the government reach its SB spending goals, including Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) and 8a.” The period of performance on this multi-award contract started in May 2019 and will be used to acquire a variety of communications, information technology, cyber security, cloud engineering, and support services.
