Program Financial Analyst, Fort Meade, MD

  • Primary Responsibilities:
    • Review and analyze funding requests submitted by Program Managers
    • Ensure program requirements and resource allocations are within budget control
    • Prepare and track funding packages for Defense Working Capital Fund (DWCF) and appropriated requirements utilizing Contracting Officers Representatives Administrative System (CORAS) 
    • Monitor and track obligations and costs for assigned projects utilizing the Resource Management Center (RMC) Financial Dashboard
    • Knowledge with Procurement, RDT&E, and O&M funding
    • Ability to work with tight deadlines for the annual POM and BES budgets
    • Work with SharePoint for documentation of funding requests
    • Ability to work on Labor and Material funding requests

    • Ability to follow direction of senior staff, ability to perform independent research, self-familiarize with vendor products and documentation.
  • Required Qualifications/Education/Experience
    • BS in Accounting, Finance or representative experience in a Federal environment
    • Department of Defense (DoD) Planning, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES)
    • Budget Formulation, Justification, and Execution 
    • Funds Management and Reporting 
    • Financial Planning and Analysis 
    • Account Reconciliation 
  • Required Security Clearance:  
    • Secret
